Tomorrow begins EOG testing, and we are so proud of all of our students for their hard work and preparation! 📚✏️
Today, students in grades 3-8 received special bracelets and/or motivational socks as a reminder that we believe in them and know they can do amazing things. 💙

Get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast, and come ready to do your best. Remember — you are prepared, capable, and stronger than any test!

What a beautiful way to start the day at J.S. Waters School (red sky- Go CUBS)! 🌈

This morning’s rainbow felt like the perfect reminder as we head toward St. Patrick’s Day and the final stretch of the school year. Just like climbing a rainbow to find the pot of gold, our students have been working hard all year- step by step- building knowledge, growing their skills, and pushing themselves to reach new heights.

The “pot of gold” at the end isn’t just great test scores or report cards- it’s the confidence, perseverance, and growth our students gain along the way. We’re proud of the journey they’re on and excited to see all they accomplish as the year continues! 🍀✨

Sometimes a rainbow is just a rainbow… and sometimes it’s a reminder that something special is ahead.

Today we proudly celebrate National School Resource Officer Day and the incredible impact of our very own SRO Duke Norton and all of the Chatham County SRO’s!

Officer Norton does so much more than keep our campus safe, he builds relationships, mentors students, listens, encourages, and shows up every single day with a servant’s heart. The trust and respect he has worked hard to build with our students is something special to see.

This week, we witnessed a sweet reminder of that impact. One of our JS Waters Cubs 🐻 randomly bought matching Rice Krispie treats at lunch, one for themselves and one for Staff Sergeant Norton, simply to say “thank you.” What a powerful example of the positive relationships he has worked so hard to build!

We are so thankful for Staff Sergeant Norton and the care he shows our Cubs each and every day. ♥️
