Today we welcomed the Young Men of Character group from G. W. Carver Primary to the courthouse. Judges Erin Lanoux, Jason Verdigets and John Smith gave an interactive lesson on courtroom procedures and what it’s like being a judge, Ascension clerk of court minute clerks explained their roles in the courtroom, and the APSO courthouse security team led the students on a tour. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting this engaging group of future leaders! Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office Ascension Parish Clerk of Court
