As we bring the school year to a close, we acknowledge the numerous incredible staff members across the district who work tirelessly to assure student growth and success.

Two of these incredible ladies were chosen by their colleagues in acknowledgement of their commitment to student success.

Stacey Fojtik, Speech-Language Pathologist, was chosen as the Champion of Student Success. She represents the special education professional who goes above and beyond to support students with unique needs, advocating, innovating, and creating opportunities for their success.

Sandra Brown, School Counselor, was chosen as the recipient of the Wellness Award. This award honors one outstanding counselor or nurse for their dedication to the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff. This person goes above and beyond to provide care, support, and resources while fostering a safe, healthy, and positive school environment.

Congratulations ladies…we are proud of you❤️

Happy last week of school! The end of the school year can bring about a lot of emotions like excitement for the summertime, but it can also be difficult for students as they say goodbye to their friends for the next couple of months and prepare to transition to a new grade next school year. We want to highlight some of the amazing community mental health resources that are available during the summer that can provide that extra support a student may need to help them through whatever it is they are going through. We hope you all have an amazing summer and look forward to seeing you next school year!

As we are moving through the month of May, we want to continue highlighting Mental Health Awareness Month. We hope to shed some light on different things and help break the stigma surrounding mental health starting with sharing some myths and facts.
