As a former Dolly Parton Imagination Library Coordinator, I just wanted to take a moment to recognize all she's done for literacy, music and more! She is a true legend, was humble and real! Rest in peace Dolly ❤️ We'll make sure children still have books 📚

The Parton family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. ❤️

The Imagination Library is such a beautiful part of the legacy Dolly leaves behind. What began right here in East Tennessee grew into something that has put books into the hands of millions of children and helped inspire a love of reading in families around the world.

For someone who gave so much throughout her life, it feels incredibly fitting that honoring her can also mean continuing to give to others.

Dolly’s impact will be felt for generations, and the Imagination Library is just one of the many beautiful ways her kindness, generosity, and love for her home and its people will continue on. 📚🦋

We even have Indiana authors, a local Benton County author and several authors I've recently had the honor of meeting and getting to know! For one of these authors we are the first library to catalog his first book! Come check out our selection!
