It is that time of year again, it is our annual touch a truck event 🚓🚑🚒🚜🚌. I have attached the flyer and hope you all bring your kiddos out for a great time of learning and exploring 🤓😎. We will also be running a car seat check lane, we would be more then happy to check your car seat out to ensure your little ones are safe 🫶🤜🤛🫵. We will also have a car seat giveaway, so come out and enjoy!!!

It’s time for the ANNUAL BATTLE OF THE BADGES LEMONADE STAND! 🍋🥤🥊

Join us on September 25, 2026, at Concert in the Park as Law Enforcement, Fire & EMS go head-to-head in a battle for bragging rights—and, more importantly, to help our local kids! ❤️💛

💰 This is a fundraiser for Goodland Schools - USD 352 Goodland Kansas to help students and families who are behind on school lunch payments. Every donation helps make sure our kids don’t go without. 💸

👮‍♀️🚒🚑 We’ll be out walking around before the event collecting donations, so keep an eye out for us and help support a GREAT cause!

This past weekend, EMS, Fire, and Sheriff personnel from Goodland and Colby came together for a joint Tactical Medicine training focused on strengthening interagency coordination, communication, and response capabilities in high-risk and rapidly evolving environments.

This training provided participants with the opportunity to practice integrated operations, enhance medical response under tactical conditions, and build stronger working relationships across agencies. By training together, we improve our ability to serve and protect our communities safely and effectively when incidents occur.

Day one consisted of a lecture and table-top exercises. Day Two was hands-on stop the bleed trainings and patient extrication. Day Three was "putting it all together" in a large-scale simulated incident with volunteers from the community.

A huge thank you to all personnel and volunteers from the community who participated and contributed to making this training a success. Continued collaboration and preparedness help ensure we are ready when our communities need us most!
