Big news! 🎉 TN Voices has been chosen as a 2026 Phase I grant recipient by Trinity Health Foundation of East Tennessee.
 
Trinity Health Foundation supports East Tennessee nonprofits working to improve health and wellbeing in our community. Each year, they pick a group of organizations whose projects match their goals, including mental health, addiction recovery, housing, and care for vulnerable people.
 
This grant will help TN Voices launch the Thrive Transition Program. This new pilot at Lumen Flats in Knoxville will bring trauma-informed mental health care, certified peer support, and digital wellness tools to young adults moving out of foster care and into stable housing.
 
We’re grateful to Trinity Health Foundation for supporting this work and for helping East Tennessee a place where young people can grow and thrive.

We're looking for a strategic IT leader to help us build, protect, and evolve our technology operations.

What we're looking for:
> 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership
> Deep cybersecurity and HIPAA/HITECH expertise
> Healthcare or nonprofit background strongly preferred

You will:
> Oversee cybersecurity, risk management, and HIPAA compliance
> Manage infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud services, and endpoints)
> Lead our transition to internal IT operations
> Evaluate emerging tech — AI, automation, data analytics, and beyond

We’re excited to share that TN Voices has been selected to launch an innovative new pilot supporting young adults transitioning out of foster care in Tennessee. 🏠

Through the Reconstruct Thriving Youth Challenge, TN Voices will partner with Lumen Flats to provide a first-of-its-kind model that combines:
✨ Trauma-informed therapy
✨ Certified peer mentors with lived experience
✨ Digital wellness tools and real-time support
✨ Safe, supportive transitional housing

This pilot is designed to create a community where youth can heal, grow, and build a future on their own terms. We’re working to ensure that no young person leaves care without someone to call, tools to use, or hope for what’s next!

What’s next for this project? TN Voices has open positions supporting the young people at Lumen Flats — including a Therapist for Transition Age Youth and Certified Young Adult Peer Support

Tennessee just made history.

The HOPE Treatment Act passed in the Tennessee House and Senate and is now headed to the governor’s desk. This bill clears the way for ibogaine clinical trials in TN and opens a new door for veterans seeking treatment for PTSD and addiction. TN Voices is proud to be a champion of bold, innovative solutions to bring healing to those in need.

Today, the Trump administration issued an executive order directing federal agencies to expedite research and access to psychedelic therapies, including ibogaine, for serious mental illness. Veterans are named as a priority population.

This is a pivotal moment for Tennessee. The Tennessee Senate has already passed the HOPE Treatment Act (HB 2075 / SB 2149), which authorizes our research institutions to participate in FDA-supervised ibogaine clinical trials and multistate consortium. The House now has the opportunity to act.

The federal government is allocating funds and offering fast-track designations for qualifying psychedelic therapies. Tennessee's hospitals and research institutions can participate, but only with the state-law foundation that the HOPE Treatment Act provides.

The Senate has done its part. We urge the House to do the same before the close of the current legislative session.
