Today is the big day! I’d like to begin it with gratitude! Just a few short weeks ago you were a total stranger who I’d never met. Yesterday you so graciously donated to our department for the betterment of our communities. A post, a like, a share found its way to you…and your inspiration to be incredible people found its way back to us. We thank this donor, as well as many others, for selflessly inspiring us all to give back, and help support the cause.

If our communities get half as excited as Stanley Maruszczak Jr. for our 60th annual Goodman Fire Department Fundraiser this Friday July 3rd 5:00-11:00pm we’re gonna be fightin fires in gold suits and ties 🤣🤣🤣. Can we help share a little of his enthusiasm and dedication to our communities?!?!?!

⚠️ Attention ⚠️ Our 4th of July fundraiser is fast approaching! Our annual Goodman Fire Department Fundraiser Street Dance will be Friday July 3. There will be a firework display at dusk, launching from the vicinity of Reliable Repair right in town. There will be a firework display at lake Hilbert on Saturday July 4th, at dusk, as well.

This is an incredible opportunity for EVERYONE in our communities to do their part! Baked goods, raffle item donations, volunteering for setup or with the event itself. Whether it’s an hour, a dollar, a like and share this post, EVERYONE CAN HELP OUT!!!

“SNOW-MAGEDDON” this storm has the potential to be one of if not thee worst storms in decades. You will not be able to travel for an extended period of time. We will have very high winds too. We will lose power for extended periods of time. This is not the time to be out and about looking at the scenery or checking on things covered by insurance. Life safety is thee only exception! Response to emergencies will be near impossible for a period of time. Shelter in place, have supplies, and have a plan. Be prepared!
