🐝🧡 A proud Hornet moment!

Yesterday, our varsity volleyball team was participating in a tournament in Shepherd and stopped at Texas Grill & Cafe for a team meal. While they were there, a generous gentleman recognized the Goodrich ISD logo and kindly paid for their meal.

What makes us especially proud is how our girls responded. They gathered around him, thanked him, and made sure he knew how much they appreciated his kindness. A witness shared how respectful, loving, and grateful these young women were.

We are incredibly proud of our Lady Hornets for representing Goodrich ISD so well, both on and off the court. Moments like this are a true testament to the efforts of their families, coaches, teachers, and community to raise the greatest next generation.

Thank you to the kind gentleman for blessing our girls, and thank you to our Lady Hornets for showing everyone what it means to live the Goodrich Hornet Way! 🏐🐝🧡

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has recognized Goodrich High School as #2 in the state of Texas among high-poverty campuses outperforming their peers!

What an incredible accomplishment! This recognition is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families.
