WILKINSON COUNTY: Georgia DOT is seeking feedback about a proposed project to replace the existing State Route 18 bridge over Norfolk Southern and Westbrook Road in the city of Gordon.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the nine brave Charleston firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty during the tragic Super Sofa Store fire on June 18, 2007. Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to protecting others will never be forgotten.

While out inspecting and performing annual hydrant maintenance, firefighters stopped to show some future firefighters the tools and equipment on the apparatus and spray some what from the hose.
