A HUGE THANK YOU to Kevin and Shelly Stockin!

Thanks to their generous donation, AGR Wildlife now has this beautiful new pre-release enclosure deep in the woods!

Kevin and Shelly, your generosity is making a real difference for the animals in our care. We can’t thank you enough for helping us give wildlife a second chance!

This is what success looks like. 🦝❤️

After months of care, these raccoons are finally back where they belong — wild and free.

Watching them climb off and immediately explore their new home makes all the work worth it.

Stay wild, little ones. 🌲🦝

🐾 RELEASE DAY IS COMING! 🦝❤️

These little masked troublemakers have officially completed their stay at AGR Wildlife, and Saturday is RELEASE DAY!

They came to us needing a helping hand, and now they’re healthy, strong, independent, and more than ready to trade room service for life back in the wild.

This is the part that makes all the late-night feedings, endless cleaning, mountains of food, and hard work worth it. Watching them walk away knowing they’re getting the second chance they deserve is what wildlife rehabilitation is all about.

🦝🌿 We’ll miss those masked faces… but we’re VERY happy to stop cleaning up after you. 😂

Ever wonder what it takes to feed orphaned wildlife?

This is one of our gold standards at AGR Wildlife Rehab—Fox Valley Day One.

And yes… during baby season, we buy it by the 20-POUND BUCKET.

Lots of tiny bellies. Lots of late-night feedings. And hopefully, lots of healthy releases.

🦊 Tomorrow is RELEASE DAY! 🦊

After months of room service, free meals, housekeeping, and absolutely zero rent, these three have officially overstayed their welcome. 😂

Tomorrow, these beautiful foxes are getting their eviction notice and heading back where they belong—the WILD! 🌿🦊

They’ve grown, learned, become independent, and are ready to trade their comfy hammocks and catered meals for hunting, exploring, and doing all the wild fox things we’ve been preparing them for.

Release day is always a little bittersweet, but this is the whole reason we do what we do.

Three foxes. Three second chances. And tomorrow… they get a new address! ❤️😂

If you’ve ever smiled at one of our baby raccoons, cheered on a squirrel’s recovery, followed Wylie’s journey, or celebrated a release with us — today is a great day to help make the next rescue possible!

Every donation to AGR Wildlife Rehabilitation helps provide formula, food, medical supplies, safe housing, and everything else our wildlife needs while they grow, heal, and prepare for their second chance back in the wild.

We may do the feeding, cleaning, sleepless nights, and releases — but we couldn’t do it without YOU.

You can find different ways to donate on our website

Baby J & Sticky Buns 🐿️❤️

Baby J came to AGR in early March after falling from a tree. She was cold, dehydrated, weak, and in critical condition. After fluids and several days of barely eating, day four came—and so did her appetite! From there, she never looked back.

Then came Sticky Buns. She was found at our church stuck to a glue trap. After carefully freeing and cleaning her up, she joined Baby J—and two rescue stories became one. ❤️

They grew up together, learned the skills they needed to survive, and eventually became two strong, healthy squirrels ready for the wild.

When release day came, Baby J and Sticky Buns returned to the wild together. 🐿️🌳

Two different beginnings.
Two second chances.
One beautiful ending. ❤️

These little guys and gals were amazing! They are running wild now!

🐾 Small Packages, BIG Rewards ❤️

They may come to us tiny enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but these little opossums bring some of the biggest rewards in wildlife rehabilitation.

From tube feeding when they’re too small to eat on their own, to watching them learn to lap, eat solid foods, and finally become completely independent—every little milestone is a victory.

Every feeding, every worry, and every hour spent caring for them leads to the moment we work so hard for: release day. ❤️

Watching those tiny, fragile babies grow into strong, independent wild opossums and finally setting them free makes it all worthwhile.

Small packages really do bring BIG rewards. 🐾🌿

🦝 Throwback Thursday! 🦝

Throwing it back to where it all began! ❤️ These little masked babies were my very first batch of raccoons to rehabilitate and successfully release back into the wild.

The sleepless nights, endless bottles, tiny little hands, and wondering if I was doing everything right. Watching them grow from helpless babies into strong, healthy raccoons ready for the wild is something I’ll never forget.

They taught me so much and helped lay the foundation for what AGR Wildlife Rehab is today. Every animal that has come through our doors since has added another chapter, but there will always be something extra special about your first successful rehab and release. 🥹🦝❤️
