AGR Wildlife Rehab is a permitted wildlife rehabilitation center and 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native Texas wildlife. We currently operate under the permit of a fully licensed, experienced rehabilitation facility. After volunteering for several years, we became a sub-permittee to help meet the growing demand created by the increasing number of wildlife intakes in our area.

These two little ones are still so young that their eyes haven’t even opened yet. At this age, they depend completely on us for warmth, nutrition, stimulation, and around-the-clock care.

For now, their job is simple: eat, sleep, stay warm, and GROW! 🍼🐾

It won’t be long before those little eyes open and the real raccoon mischief begins. 😂

Big milestone for this girl! 🐾❤️

She has come a long way, and today she showed us she is strong enough to take the next big step in her rehabilitation—moving into her outdoor enclosure!

This is where she’ll continue building strength, adjusting to the sights and sounds of the outdoors, and developing the skills she’ll need to eventually return to the wild. 🌿

Every step forward brings her a little closer to where she belongs. Seeing her standing strong out there this morning makes all the hard work worth it. ❤️

Meet our newest little arrivals! 🦝❤️

These babies just came to us today, weighing roughly 330 grams each. Right now, their biggest jobs are staying warm, getting full bellies, and getting plenty of rest.

They’ve had a big day, and judging by these pictures, they’ve already decided the accommodations at AGR Wildlife Rehab are pretty comfortable. 😂

Today is just the beginning. From tiny 330-gram babies needing our help to strong, independent raccoons ready for the wild—that’s the goal.

For now… eat, sleep, grow, repeat. 🍼🦝💤

Apparently, “living in a brick house” sounded like a good idea to this little guy. 😂🐿️🧱

He was found stuck inside a brick wall and needed a little assistance with his eviction. Thankfully, he was rescued and brought to us so we can make sure he’s healthy, safe, and ready for his second chance back in the wild. ❤️

10/10 hiding spot. 0/10 exit strategy. 😂

🦝 Tiny paws, big personality! 💕

This little masked bandit is our newest baby here at AGR Wildlife Rehabilitation. At only about 4 weeks old, she still has a whole lot of growing to do!

Because she came to us so late in the season, we will have to overwinter her, to ensure she learns the skills she needs to survive and prepare for release when the time is right. ❤️

For now, it’s warm blankets, full bellies, lots of care, and apparently a little modeling on the side. 😂🦝

UPDATE: Wylie the coyote has officially discovered the perks of a good meal plan. Two and a half pounds up and feeling very proud of that room service.

Every ounce is progress, though, and every pound is one step closer to going home to the wild. For now, she’s still giving us that side eye approval rating.
