We want everyone to come out, enjoy the cars, support our local businesses, and have a great time with friends and family.

The Gore Police Department will be out helping keep the event safe. As a reminder, all traffic laws will still be enforced. Please drive responsibly, watch for pedestrians, avoid reckless driving, and be respectful of others enjoying the event.

Their courage, dedication, and selfless service will never be forgotten. We remember not only the officers who gave their lives, but also the families, departments, and communities who continue to carry their legacy forward.

May we always honor their sacrifice with gratitude, respect, and remembrance.

SCAM ALERT – Please Share

The Gore Police Department wants to alert the public about a scam text message currently circulating. The message claims to be from an “Oklahoma Court” regarding a pending traffic citation and tells the recipient to pay through a suspicious link.

This is a scam. Do not click the link. Do not enter any personal, banking, or driver’s license information.

A few warning signs include:

The message comes from an international phone number.

The link is not an official Oklahoma court or government website.

It uses threatening language about warrants, license suspension, and extra fees to pressure you into paying quickly.

If you receive a message like this, delete it. If you are unsure whether you owe a citation or court cost, contact the court directly using a verified phone number. Do not use the phone number or link provided in the text message.
