We are a small, rural community in the heart of Southern Illinois and the Shawnee National Forest. From our Spring Fling, Fall Festival and 4th of July “Freedom Fest” and Fireworks to our excellent hunting and fishing traditions, Goreville is full of great activities for families of all ages and old fashioned southern hospitality that will make you want to stay!
