Found Cat in the area of Wilson Road and Sebago Lake Road. She seems to be unfixed, no collar, and really wants to be inside our finders home!

If she looks familiar, please give Gorham Animal Control a call at (207)839-5581. If no owner is located, she will be brought to Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland in Westbrook.

FOUND CAT - GORHAM, ME - Found at the intersection of Fort Hill Road & Green Tree Drive. Currently at Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. Adult domestic short hair black & white neutered male cat. He does not have a collar or a microchip. He was brought into ARLGP on November 14th. Proof of ownership is required at the time of reclaim. PLEASE CALL ARLGP at 207-854-9771 with any claims or questions.

There is a heat advisory for Maine, Monday from 11am to Tuesday at 8pm. This means that your pet can be at risk of heat stroke and other heat related injury or illness.

The afternoons are NOT a good time for a hike or run and car rides where pets have to wait in the car is risky today. Please be mindful if you have an elderly dog with respiratory disease or smooshed face breeds. Since dogs get rid of heat by panting, heat and humidity can make it really challenging for them to regulate their body temp!

PLEASE check inside of your garages, basements, sheds, barns, RVs, storage trailers/containers and other buildings to make sure he is not closed inside.

DECEASED CAT NOTIFICATION - GORHAM, ME - Found at the intersection of Wood Road and Ossipee Trail, Gorham, Maine. Adult domestic short hair Lynx Point Siamese female cat. Spay status is unknown. There is no collar or microchip. She was brought in to Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland by the ACO.
