Please read this message from Marie and Brandon Mancuso:

Thank you so much for the love and support during this difficult time. We are grateful for all that the community has done for us. Whether it was dropping off a cake, the beautiful cards, thoughtful gifts, doing our food shopping, or stopping by with words of comfort. Just knowing that we have your continued support and friendship has helped us find strength and courage.
We are deeply touched by your stories of Sal or “Mr. Man”. He loved working as a teacher in Washingtonville and Cornwall schools. Sal found his passion for teaching later in life, but still managed to impact and inspire others. He took great pride in serving as a member of the Blooming Grove Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Through BGVAC, he was able to give back to the community he’d been a part of for thirty-four years.
We will never forget your acts of kindness and your heartwarming messages for Sal. From the bottom of our hearts, please know how much we appreciate your support. We look forward to seeing you all when the world permits. We know Sal will always be watching over us and his spirit will be forever with us.
With gratitude and love,
The Mancuso Family

Did you know that Emergency Medical Services is not considered an “essential service” in the State of NY. Imagine you called 911 one day and were told “sorry, we don’t provide ambulance service due to monetary constraints”. An absolute disgrace and embarrassment on all political levels in our State.

We also visited the Warwick Police Department, New Windsor Police, Cornwall Police Department, Town of Woodbury Police Dept., Highland Falls Police Benevolent Association, Inc., Mobile Life Support Services, and Orange County 911. UPDATE: Sunday 4/5 at 3:55pm
The children have been located in the Town of Deerpark and are fine. Thank you to everyone who offered to help search and who provided us with places to check.

The three children in the photo ran away from a foster home on Greycourt Road this afternoon. If you’ve seen them, please call the Town of Chester Police Department NY at (845)469-9311 or call 911. The area around the foster home has been searched extensively by multiple agencies without finding them. They were on foot and believed to have headed towards the Heritage Trail. They are fairly new to Chester and have no known friends in the area.
