The reading of the Declaration of Independence is happening simultaneously nationwide! Come be part of this historic event. July 8th at 6pm. At the gazebo on the Goshen fairgrounds!

Come celebrate the our nation's 250th birthday with the nationwide reading of the Declaration of Independence. Our Town Clerk, Barbara Breor, will be reading the Declaration at 6pm in the gazebo at the Goshen Fair Grounds. A community celebration picnic will follow with hamburgers and hot dogs, sponsored by the American Legion Post #46. Bring your own chairs, blankets, snacks, side dishes, drinks and yard games. We will have corn hole, disc golf, and badminton. Gates open at 5:30pm, picnic and games to follow the reading until 8pm. Call Erin with questions or more information 860-601-6089.
