We want to give a huge shout out to all of those who helped with the Community Cleanup last week! On Saturday we had 10 volunteers out picking up trash: Mayor Tom McCraw, Council Members Steve Bickley and Sheila Sampson, Employee Trudy Martin and husband Trent Martin, Mike Knicely, Normal Hinkle, Gary Clements and his son Mason. Earlier in the week we had Marybeth Franklin and her husband Wayne and Don Henkey who picked up trash on their own. We aren't sure how many bags Don picked up, but we know it was a lot and the rest of us picked up 27 bags throughout town and on Furnace Hill. Thank you all for showing up and doing an amazing job helping to keep our community clean!
Sorry we didn't get a photo to share, but we will try to do better next time🙂
