Epic day at Goshen! On Saturday, June 6, we proudly hosted the milestone 10th Annual Orange County Elementary Special Olympics.

Our athletes brought incredible determination and high energy to the basketball skills competition. You were the stars of the day! ⭐🏀

C.J. Ho**er Declassified: 6th Grade School Survival Guide 📚

7th-grade students took the lead in welcoming incoming 6th graders during orientation, touring, sharing advice, answering questions, and helping them get excited for middle school.

We are incredibly proud of our Goshen teams for their outstanding performances at the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals!

✨ Team Losee (Coach: Rachel Losee) placed 4th out of 54 teams after an amazing five-year journey in Odyssey of the Mind. Competing in all five problem categories over the years, their creativity, teamwork, and dedication led to an unforgettable final season together.

✨ Team Seligman (Coach: Heidi Seligman) earned an impressive 7th out of 61 teams in their division! As a newly formed team, they showed incredible problem-solving skills, collaboration, and determination in their very first year competing together. Special thanks to their student volunteers for their support and leadership.

🎓 We also celebrate Carly Seligman, who received the Creative Opportunities Visionary Scholarship at World Finals and is now part of the Odyssey Alumni community!

Both teams dedicated countless hours since October preparing their solutions and proudly represented Goshen, NY and New York State on the international stage.

A heartfelt thank you to our parents and guardians, students, district administration, Odyssey of the Mind coaches, CJH Principal, Mrs. Hindell, our custodial staff, especially Adam, and the Board of Education for their incredible support, encouragement, and dedication throughout this journey.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this experience possible, your support made a lasting impact on our students. 💙

Orange County STOP-DWI & Traffic Safety visited GHS this week for its pre-prom safety program. Students watched their peers in a mock-crash, reenacting a real-life scenario of a drunk driving accident, helping raise awareness about the dangers and devastating consequences of impaired driving.

Prom is tonight — have fun, make safe choices, and enjoy a memorable evening!
