Please join us in wishing Orange County Youth Bureau Senior Account Clerk Michelle Serrata all the best as she transitions into her new role outside of the Youth Bureau.

Michelle just celebrated her one-year work anniversary the end of last month and we appreciate her dedication to help with training new Senior Account Clerk Fay Lewis!

We might not have thrown confetti for her last day at the Youth Bureau, but we made sure to have Michelle's favorite - carrot cake - on hand for both celebrations! 😁

Youth Bureau Leaders from around the region get together for a variety of training opportunities!

The Hudson Valley Youth Bureau Association (HVYBA) is a unified network of local administered Youth Bureau/Boards that provides leadership in policy, planning, and coordination of strategies for its membership to promote the comprehensive well-being of youth and families.

Members of the HVYBA gathered together in February for the Youth Bureau Directors Training with the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, as well as the Association of NYS Youth Bureaus Youth Development Conference.

Members also followed up with additional training in Orange County with Tamara Cooper, Team Leader of Training for Family of Woodstock, who presented safeTalk and Trauma Informed Care workshops.

FREE safeTALK Su***de Prevention & Mental Health Resource Training - - PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED...

The Orange County Youth Bureau in partnership with the Orange County Su***de Prevention Committee will be delivering a FREE safeTALK Su***de Prevention & Mental Health Resource Training on June 25th from 12:PM-3:30 at the Orange County Emergency Services Center 22 Wells Farm Road, Goshen.

This Training will helps assist individuals with thoughts of Su***de, Depression, and Anxiety, by keeping them safe and connecting them to the appropriate mental health and su***de first aid resources.

This training is open to anyone aged 15 and over, including Bus Drivers, Camp Counselors, Coaches, Faith Based Community, High School & College Students, Law Enforcement, Librarians, Military Personnel, Service Providers, Teachers, School Based Professionals, Volunteers, and any Concerned Community Members.

Continuing Education Credits/CE Credits are available for LMSW, LCSW, and LMHC.
