We always enjoy being able to interact with the youth of our community! What better way to start the school year off by greeting the kids as they were dropped off by their parents or arrived by bus. Have a safe and fun school year kiddos!

It's always a great opportunity to have personnel from our department and surrounding departments come together for training. Thanks to the Ohio academy (Instructor Jeremy Keller) for providing your wisdom and expertise on fire pump operations to the Stonelick Township Fire Department and Blanchester Fire firefighters that participated in this training and to the Wayne Township Fire Auxiliary (Freddie Way) for providing lunch.
Plans are in the works for additional multi-departmental training in the near future!

Stonelick Township Fire Department and Wayne Township Fire Rescue wish to express our deepest appreciation to the regional fire and EMS agencies, law enforcement agencies, and all organizations, businesses, service organizations, churches and individuals who assisted our departments as we paid tribute to Firefighter Wyatt Fisher.
We are so very proud of the level of professionalism and collaboration between our Departments. This collaboration hopefully will continue to unite both departments as we continue to provide services to our prospective communities. (Just another way FF Wyatt Fisher is still working/giving back/bringing our departments together)
The undertaking to coordinate such an enormous event between so many; (meeting timelines, obtaining resources and organizing between both Stonelick Township Fire and Wayne Township Fire) was a tremendous success.

Today, Wayne Township Fire & Rescue and the Stonelick Township Fire Department are releasing the initial funeral arrangements for our brother, Firefighter Wyatt Fisher.
We continue to be humbled by the incredible outpouring of support from our neighboring fire departments, law enforcement agencies, EMS providers, elected officials, friends, and the communities we proudly serve. Your prayers, kindness, and support have meant more than words can express during this difficult time.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Clermont Northeastern High School in Batavia.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by a fire service procession to Batavia Union Cemetery, where Wyatt will be laid to rest with full fire service honors.

Planning for a funeral of this size requires significant coordination among public safety agencies and community partners. Additional information, including procession details, parking, road closures, media information, honor guard participation, and public attendance guidance, will be released on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

We respectfully ask everyone to continue keeping Wyatt’s family, friends, and his brothers and sisters in the fire service in your thoughts and prayers.
