Last month, the Goulds community came together for an important conversation about community housing updates and the issues affecting local families.

We’re grateful to every resident, community leader, partner, and presenter who joined us, shared information, asked questions, and made their voice heard. This is what community looks like—neighbors coming together, staying informed, and working toward a stronger Goulds.

The School Board of Miami-Dade County will hold a Special Meeting to continue the search for the next Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

The Board will:
• Review and refine interview protocols
• Establish the interview process and participants for the top candidates
• Review the final community outreach report with the Board’s facilitator

The selection of our next Superintendent will impact more than 320,000 students, thousands of educators and staff, and the future of public education in our community.

The NAACP Miami-Dade Branch calls for a transparent, inclusive, and fair selection process that reflects the priorities and needs of the community.
