Phones during emergencies to contact 911

The law is named after Paul Miller Jr., who was killed by a distracted driver in Pennsylvania.

It is being reported that there is another scam in our area. The scammer is calling to say that the individual has missed jury and that they need to pay $5000.00.
Wayne County never calls to collect money and deputies will never accept any money from anyone. If you get a call like this, just simply hang up and ignore more calls. One of the best things to do is if you get a call from an unknown number just let it go to voicemail.
Please reach out to our office if you have any questions and to remember to never give out your personnel of bank information to anyone. With AI, the scammers can use voices, and pictures that you cannot tell if they are fake.

PA law requires everyone under the age of 12 to wear a helmet while riding a bicycle.

But, just like a seat belt protects you in a vehicle, a helmet protects you while bicycling.

Don’t skip that life-saving piece of equipment. No matter your age – always wear a helmet.

And make sure it fits – get info and steps on how to check for a proper fit at NHTSA.gov/bicycles.
