Tax bills were sent out, and we want to make sure you're informed! Some of you may have received a pink tax bill instead of the usual white tax statement due to a few mortgage codes not being converted over correctly. We’re actively working to correct this in our system.

🔍 You can check online to see if your mortgage company has paid your taxes. https://bsaonline.com/BsaPayment/PayBill?payBillSessionGuid=ed73db87-3e1b-49ef-bfc7-bdaafdec048f&uid=1359
Keep in mind that most mortgage companies typically don’t make these payments until close to the first week of February.

If you have any concerns or questions, we encourage you to reach out directly to your mortgage company to verify that your taxes are being taken care of.

REMINDER - It is illegal to plow snow onto or across the roadway. This creates an unsafe situation for motorists. This is a civil infraction violation with a fine of up to $100.00.

257.677a (4) A person shall not deposit, or cause to be deposited, snow, ice, or slush on any roadway or highway.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend & colleague, Catherine Knapp, who passed away on November 25, 2025. Catherine was known for her dedication and strong personality. We will forever cherish the memories we had with her. Details about a celebration of life/funeral will be shared soon.

The minutes approved at the previous meeting will be posted within 5 business days after they were approved.
The Draft minutes of the latest meeting will be available for review within 8 business days after the meeting. These are only a draft and any or all parts of the draft minutes may be change or corrected at the next board meeting.

Chris started out, on Harvard Fire Department in 1990 then when Harvard shut down, he continued his volunteer on Spencer since 1992.
Chris's last day with Spencer Township Fire Department will be on December 8th.
Congratulations Christopher Lange .
Chris will continue his duties as an elected official on Spencer Township Board, our grounds person and community service coordinator.

Any resident of Spencer Township, Courtland Township, Oakfield Township, etc., can drop tires off for free.
