Roadway is now closed. Please do not go beyond the road closed signage as it is creating a traffic hazard to have vehicles attempt to turn around or back up in the construction area after seeing the road is completely closed.

Southeast Valley Schools will dismiss two hours early on Thursday, April 23, 2026, due to forecasted winds of 60 to 70 mph expected in our area around 3:30 PM. Our primary concern is the safety of our students, particularly those riding high profile school buses and the amount of miles those buses travel. Stay safe Jags!

At this time, the middle school music concert will proceed as scheduled.

Road construction milling will start tomorrow in Gowrie- please see maps in this post for closed roads and detours in place.

Questions we are getting:
Q) Can I get to my house which is on a closed road?
A) Yes, the milled road will be similar to gravel. You can access your house by driving on the milled road to access your driveway. Use caution with the height difference between pavement and milled road- ramps will be set up.

Q) What about parking?
A) Please utilize open streets to park on. If you have a driveway, please park all vehicles in it. Alleyways will still be accessible. Once new pavement is poured, roads will be closed to all traffic for a couple days. No day parking on closed roads.

Q) What about thru traffic?
A) Closed road are not to be used for thru traffic. Please use an open road and follow the detours.

Q) What about emergency vehicles, utilities services and mail deliveries?
A) All will be able to access the residences on the closed roads.

Q) How do I access Park, Pleasant, and Riddle to the North of Main St?
A) Please use Lynd St until further notice.
