RISE Commemorative Event for Indigenous Peoples’Day A family-friendly walk in the woods to mark Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Focus on spending time as a community in our natural world.

We will meet at the entrance to the woods at 10am and have a short discussion about the importance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day by a local historian, some ideas for supporting a legislative agenda and then a slow walk/hike into the woods. Please arrive close to 10am so we can enjoy a walk together. If you arrive after the group leaves, feel free to pm me or enjoy the woods in your own.
