We're down to just three more days at Tygart Adventure Lake, starting Saturday!

Three more chances to spend the day by the water, soak up the sunshine, and squeeze a little more summer into 2026 with your friends and family.

Just a reminder: the season at Tygart Adventure Lake ends after Labor Day, Monday September 7th. Our end of the season schedule is as follows:

Hey everyone! Great news, Tygart Adventure Lake will be OPEN tomorrow, Sunday, August 23rd from 10AM TO 6PM!

Tomorrow we will be taking walk-in purchases ONLY, so all you have to do is show up, purchase your ticket on-site, and sign your waiver.

The West Virginia state park website is currently down so online ticket sales are temporarily unavailable.

But don't worry - you can still enjoy your day at the lake! Just come on in and get your tickets in person when you arrive.

We're thrilled to welcome everyone back for more fun in the sun. From climbing and sliding across 20+ inflatables to soaking up the sun and taking a dip in the lake, your next adventure starts today.

Thank you for sticking with us while we worked through the unexpected closure due to recent severe weather and flooding. Now it's time to get back to making memories with your family and friends!

Welcome back everyone!!! 🎉

Tygart Adventure Lake will be open at 2 PM today!

We want to thank you all for your patience during this time, and a HUGE thanks goes out to our team for working hard to get everything up and running after the weather.

Will will resume normal operating hours tomorrow, Thursday July 30th from 10 AM to 6 PM

Thursday and Friday this week are looking to be sunny with highs between 79 and 82 degrees! 😎

For the safety of our guests and staff, Tygart Adventure Lake will be closed today due to the extreme weather and high winds.

We know this isn't the news anyone wanted to hear, but safety is always a priority for us. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we wait for better weather conditions to open back up.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Tygart Adventure Lake will be closed through the weekend.

We know many of you were looking forward to spending time with us, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.
