URGENT NOTICE

The Center Brunswick Fire Dept, located at 1045 Hoosick Rd, will be hosting a public meeting regarding the Ambulance response/waiting crisis in Rensselaer County on March 19 at 7pm.

This meeting will be hosted by Albany Med Trauma Dr. Warren Hayashi.
This issue continues to be a public safety concern and will require that the public recieve factual data and the assistance of ALL our Local, County, and State elected officals. It is imperative that EVERYONE get involved and informed and recognize that there is a problem and that this basic service needs unequivocal attention and suppprt.

Please plan on attending and any other updates and information will be shared on this site.

Reality is sobering.

A few months ago TVA got the opportunity to purchase a used Ford ambulance with low mileage from the Rhinebeck Fire Department. This new ambulance has less than 50k miles, spot chains, and a power load stretcher system. On 12/6 TVA placed this ambulance in service.

In less than a month we have fielded both ambulances simultaneously on 3 occasions, preventing 3 calls from rolling over to mutual aid and today we were able to maintain coverage in our district with a second crew while our primary crew was called 30 minutes away to West Sand Lake for mutual aid.

We are excited to introduce ambulance 6502!

Although EMS services are a serious concern once in a while you just have to sit back and laugh hopefully no one will be offended by this video
