At our recent Lions Board/Member Meeting was a celebratory occasion, graced by the esteemed presence of District Governor Mark Bucchino and his wife, Kathy. Their participation significantly elevated the evening, making it a memorable milestone for our club.

A particular highlight was the formal induction of John Urban as our new Tail Twister. With characteristic pride and enthusiasm, DG Bucchino officially welcomed John into this pivotal role.
John's infectious spirit and wonderful sense of humor are exactly what's needed to maintain a vibrant and engaging atmosphere within our club. We are confident that he will excel in this position, ensuring our gatherings are filled with camaraderie and laughter. Our warmest congratulations and best wishes go out to John as he embraces this exciting new responsibility!

Adding to the evening's profound joy, we had the distinct honor of recognizing two of our dedicated and exemplary members, Elaine Urban and her husband John.
They were both bestowed with the highly prestigious Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. This esteemed recognition, is the highest honor within Lions Clubs International Foundation and celebrates individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and tireless dedication to humanitarian service. Elaine and John's selfless efforts and unwavering passion have significantly contributed to the success and impact of the Grafton Lions Club's mission, truly embodying the Lions motto of "We Serve." We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these two incredible Lions for their outstanding work and inspiring commitment.

Our sincerest thanks are extended to District Governor Mark Bucchino for his invaluable presence and for his instrumental role in conducting both the induction ceremony and the presentation of these significant awards. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who stopped by our booth at yesterday's Grafton Day! It was an absolutely remarkable day filled with community spirit and genuine connection. Our volunteers thoroughly enjoyed engaging in meaningful conversations, sharing insights into the various initiatives we undertake, and detailing how we strive to positively impact our wonderful community.

The joyous atmosphere was truly infectious, and it was delightful to witness so many smiling faces and share laughter as our beloved Hayride clown took an exhilarating plunge into the water below. Those moments of shared merriment truly underscored the strong bonds within our community.

We were proud to actively participate in and lend our support to such a splendid local recreation event. Grafton Day is a fantastic demonstration of community engagement, and we are honored to contribute to its success and continue our mission of service.
