Habitat for Humanity Ozaukee, Inc. is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International in Ozau

Habitat for Humanity - Ozaukee County began in 2013 with a vision to serve our county with the positive impacts of providing homes to deserving families. After months of hard work the board received notice from Habitat for Humanity International that they were being awarded Affiliate status as of August 1st of 2014. The members of the board are now striving to increase awareness of what Habitat ha

s been doing in Ozaukee Country as well as what they hope to accomplish in the near future. Currently Habitat for Humanity - Ozaukee County owns property in Port Washington on Park Street to build two homes and in Grafton on Wisconsin Avenue to build three homes (a single family home and a side by side duplex). The current plan is to build all five of these homes in the next four years. We are always actively seeking volunteers to help with everything from home builds and repairs, maintenance and committee member work such as planning, marketing, communications and fundraising. We are currently a nine member board with additional volunteer committee members. We would love to hear from you if you are interested in helping the board in our mission to “work in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God’s love and can love and grow into all that God intends.”

Habitat for Humanity Ozaukee is excited to once again partner with Novelis to earn a recycling grant—and we need your help to make it happen!

Here’s how it works:
When we collect 500 lbs of aluminum, we receive a $2,000 grant to support affordable housing right here in our community. 🙌

🚧 Important update:
Due to construction, we can no longer collect cans at the ONC.

But don’t worry—there’s still an easy way to participate!
👉 Save up your aluminum cans at home
👉 Drop them off at Ozaukee Iron & Metal (http://www.ozaukeeironmetal.com)
👉 You’ll receive a small payment & a receipt
👉 Donate both the payment and receipt to Habitat Ozaukee
