Rick Schultze for Selectman Candidate for Board of Selectmen Rick Schultze has announced his candidacy for Selectman in the Town of Grafton.

America made a stand near a bridge in Concord, Massachusetts and fired “the shot heard round the world.” From that beginning our great country began its trek to citizen representative government. 239 years later another citizen from Concord, and long time resident in Grafton, has stepped forward once more in service to his community. This represents a continuance in Rick’s dedication to public ser

vice. “Life as a combat veteran in Viet Nam has given me a unique appreciation for freedom” Rick said. “Citizen service is not just an honor, I see it as my responsibility.”

Rick has a passion for the great outdoors. After his military service he went to college for wildlife management and conservation. He is an avid hunter, fisher, and camper. “Our Town is representative of a pristine community anxious to preserve its beauty. As selectman I will make sure that this heritage will persevere” he said. Rick served on Board of Directors for Parents Without Partners and has been a member of the Grafton Cable TV Oversight Committee for over fourteen years. One would be hard pressed to find anyone who has attended more Selectmen’s Meetings or Town Meetings then Rick. He has remained informed about all things Grafton and is anxious to put that knowledge to work in the fine tradition of citizen service. Rick and his wife Barbara currently reside in South Grafton.
