Pinewood Derby 2026!

Congratulations to all Scouts and Outlaws that participated this year. We saw some of the fastest speeds and unique designs! Congrats to all who took home trophies and for those who will get to race their cars again at Districts!

Last week, at our Blue & Gold ceremony, we celebrated our Arrow of Light Scouts as they transitioned from Cub Scout Pack 107 to BSA Troop 107. Together with their families, the Scouts reflected on their scouting journey, received their AOL badge, and crossed the bridge where they were welcomed by the Troop.

Please join us in congratulating these Scouts on their milestone accomplishment! They have worked so hard building meaningful relationships and life skills that will propel them into this next phase. Scouts, we wish you all the best in the next step of your journey - it’ll be nothing short of amazing! Congratulations!!

Our celebration was a blast! Many Scouts received awards, our top popcorn sellers got to silly string our leaders, and each den performed a skit. We took advantage of “Pi” day. We celebrated with “Pi” themed games, a scavenger hunt and so many pies for lunch - pizza pies, chicken pies, quiche pies, and of course, pies for dessert!

Scout Bennett Bredford volunteered at the SOMA Unified Bowling Tournament to support athletes while working toward his Disabilities Awareness Merit Badge, gaining firsthand insight into inclusion and the power of sports for all abilities.

At their last den meeting, the Wolf Scouts took a field trip to Stop & Shop where they completed a scavenger hunt - exploring new and different foods - while learning about nutrition labels and comparing ingredients.

We also ran into a couple of customers who used to be Scouts, too - we love when that happens!

At their last Den Meeting, the Lion Scouts learned about personal safety. They demonstrated “shout, run, tell”, discussed emergency and non-emergency situations, and practiced dialing 911. This group of caring Scouts are ready to act and ready to help!

At their most recent Den Meeting, the Wolf Scouts put their building skills to the test. Look at the cool things they put together!! They also learned how to care for the American flag- so wonderful to see these second graders being careful with and respectful of our flag.

A huge thank you to Selectman Often for taking the time to visit our Webelos den earlier this month! The scouts had a wonderful time learning from you about local government and your service to Grafton. Your willingness to answer their questions and share your experiences brought our My Community Adventure requirements to life.

The scouts now have a much better understanding of what the Select Board of Grafton does, and how citizens can make a real difference in their community. Thank you for taking time to talk about the sidewalks and teaching them that all ages can have a voice in our community. It was especially valuable for them to see someone from the Pack 107 scouting community serving Grafton in such an important role. You are a great example of the citizenship and service values which are at the heart of scouting.Thank you again for your generosity with your time and for being such a positive role model for our scouts. We're grateful for your service to both our pack and our town.
