Country 4-H Council is exited to start off the new year! We hope that all are clubs and projects have a great start.

This month county council had a great turnout with representation from Lone Star, Olney, Renewed, Salt Fork, and Shooting Sports.

Next council meeting will be held on Monday, October 5, 5:30 at the Young County Extension Office. We hope you will phone us and look forward to seeing you there!

🎉 Congratulations to True Creel on being selected as a Texas 4-H Livestock Ambassador! 🎉

This is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to True's dedication, leadership, and passion for the livestock industry. We are proud to have True representing Young County 4-H and joining an outstanding group of youth leaders from across Texas.

Wichita, Archer and Clay counties are excited to host an officer training and have invited Young County 4-H to participate!

If you are an incoming club officer or are interested in learning more about leadership this training is for you! While activities will be geared towards club officers, there will definitely be something for everyone to take away!

Transportation is being provided in county van for participants planning to attend. Thank you Amber Hammond for volunteering. If you are interested in riding please reach out to her!

Livestock Judging kicks off tomorrow at the Extension Office - 2-5pm.

CALLING ALL NEW AND RETURNING livestock judging students. We will kick off the year with a refresher on August 4th from 2-5pm.
