In the first photo you can see a flexible foil dryer duct. These are very common, but they can easily crush, sag, and trap lint, which restricts airflow and increases the risk of a dryer fire.

In the second photo we replaced it with a semi-rigid metal dryer duct. This upgrade helps:

✅ Reduce lint buildup
✅ Prevent crushing behind the dryer
✅ Help the dryer run more efficiently

BEFORE:
Customer’s dryer vent was completely disconnected and packed with lint buildup inside the wall box. The hallway was noticeably hot because all of that heat and moisture was dumping straight into the home instead of venting outside.

Major fire hazard. Poor airflow. Wasted energy.

This is exactly how dryer fires start.

AFTER:
Vent properly reconnected, airflow restored, and system cleaned out. Heat is now venting outside where it belongs. Safe, secure, and running efficiently again.
