🚧 RAILROAD CROSSING CONSTRUCTION UPDATE 🚧

Norfolk Southern and the North Carolina Railroad Company are continuing rail replacement work through the region. As this project progresses, temporary road closures at railroad crossings will occur throughout Alamance County from East to West.

Residents and motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes when crossings are closed. Detour signs will be in place per the contractor.

⚠️ Please remember:
• Do not drive around barricades or attempt to cross a closed railroad crossing.
• Be prepared to use alternate routes.

Alamance County Veteran Services offices will be closed next week, August 17-21, as they move into their new offices at 319 N. Graham Hopedale Rd, Suite E, Burlington NC 27217. They will reopen on Monday August 24.
