The Weather update through Wednesday. We will have scattered showers moderate to heavy rain with very cool temperatures. We are not expecting any flooding issues for the county. Traveling to the Northwest you will incur icy rain and snow conditions. Traveling to the Northeast you will incur heavy rain and possibly flooding conditions. Please Drive Safe and watch for water on the roads.

There is a Threat of flooding across our region through Wednesday. The highest threat mostly widespread Tuesday Night into Wednesday morning is primarily east of I-35 and south of I-30!

Hood County Crime Stoppers and the Hood County Sheriff's Office needs help solving a Burglary of a Building.

On 12/14/2019, an unknown person or persons, without the effective consent of the owners, broke into a building, located at the intersection of Scenic Drive and War Paint Trail, in
Granbury, Hood County, Texas.

The person or persons involved stole the following items:
17” aluminum ladder, valued at approximately $85.00
1 socket set, unknown make or value
Various hand tools, unknown value
Stihl cut quick saw, serial number 184947536, valued at approximately $1,150.00
Echo chainsaw, serial number 74318499446, valued at approximately $199.00
Echo weedeater, serial number 0000306575, valued at approximately $199.00
Echo pole saw, serial number 0000279249, valued at approximately $199.00
