Did you know you can meet real live capybaras at the Zoo in Forest Park?

Borrow a pass from the library and get FREE admission for up to five people to the Zoo!

Animal Encounters are also available for Parrots, Tortoise/Turtles, Goats, Poitou Donkey, Groundhog, Skunk, Opossum, Rabbits, Muntjac, Beavers, Fennec Fox, and an Armadillo!

There is an additional fee for animal encounters that is not covered by the library's pass and you must pre-register with the Zoo for all animal encounters. Have Fun!

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธWhether you're a totally new player wanting to try out some parts of D&D or an experienced player looking for a fun time with friends, you'll want to experience this show! ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ

๐Ÿง™Jonah Knight will be at the library on Wednesday, July 29th at 2 to host a D&D Live Play game portraying a wizard on a quest to find The Lost Gem in a streamlined adventure with many possible outcomes.

Your role: You can portray a character at the front of the room, you can roll dice to determine random events, or you can decide to watch while occasionally offering ideas. Throughout the game, Jonah will perform magic to overcome obstacles and complete the quest.

This program is for all ages 6 and up. 6-11 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.

Sign-ups are required for this program, stop at the library or call 413-467-3320 to save your spot!

All children who participate in the Granby Free Public Library Summer Reading Program will receive an opportunities to enter a raffle for the prize of their choice in addition to the weekly check-in prizes!

Raffle prizes were purchased with funds from the Friends of the Granby Library and local businesses. A huge ๐—ง๐—›๐—”๐—ก๐—ž๐Ÿ’›๐—ฌ๐—ข๐—จ to Chateau Sheds, Cindy's Drive-In, Home Staging by Design, and Western Builders for their generous donations. Granby's kids are having way more fun because of them!

Come to the library on Thursday, July 9th at 5pm for a LEGO Party!

We will be putting out ALL OF OUR LEGOS along with some snacks and other LEGO themed activities. Come meet some LEGO loving friends and save the worry of stepping on a LEGO for the librarians!

There are no sign-ups required for this program, just drop-in and have fun!

Huge thanks to Brie's Balloons for rocking TWO incredible programs in one day. Not only did she twist up enough balloons for an army, she taught a bunch of kids how to do it as well!

The library was full of smiling faces and balloon animals today!
