Our Station 1 is manned with a crew 24/7. Grand Blanc Township Fire Dept serves the residents of the twp. The FD operates with 5 Engines, a 75 ft ladder truck and a 100 ft Aerial Platform truck.

Backyard fire pits, chimineas, and small recreational fires are a great way to enjoy a summer evening. To keep them safe and within Township guidelines:
🔥 Keep the fire small and contained in an approved pit or device. Fires may not exceed 3 feet wide by 3 feet long by 2 feet high
🔥 Maintain a safe distance from homes, fences, sheds, and dry vegetation
🔥 Burn only clean, seasoned firewood, never trash, leaves, brush piles, or construction debris
🔥 Keep a water source or extinguisher within reach
🔥 Never leave a fire unattended

Always remember to fully extinguish before going inside for the night, including stirring the ashes and adding water until cool to the touch. Burning trash, brush piles, leaves, or construction debris is not permitted at this time

Please join us in congratulating Firefighter Anthony Frank on celebrating his one-year anniversary with the Grand Blanc Township Fire Department.

Anthony is a third-generation firefighter, continuing a proud family tradition of service to the community. Over the past year, he has demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the department and the residents we serve.
