Grand Blanc Township Fire Department Grand Blanc Township Fire Department is proud to serve our community. GBTFD is a combined Full Time/Part Time Department.

Our Station 1 is manned with a crew 24/7. Grand Blanc Township Fire Dept serves the residents of the twp. The FD operates with 5 Engines, a 75 ft ladder truck and a 100 ft Aerial Platform truck.

Another great Ally Challenge in the books! Every year, our team works behind the scenes to make sure this event is ready for thousands of spectators and fans. We ensure all fire extinguishers are in working order, establish occupancy limits in skyboxes, inspect food trucks and keep a crew on-site throughout the week to respond to any emergencies.

Please join us in welcoming our newest probationary firefighter!

This morning, Firefighter Boger was officially sworn in by Supervisor Bennett, and today marks his first shift with the Grand Blanc Township Fire Department!

We’re excited to have Firefighter Boger as part of our team and look forward to working alongside him as he serves our community!

Making the milestone even more meaningful, Garrett’s uncle and fellow GBT firefighter, Brent Connell had the honor of presenting him with his shield.
