by Calling Swing State Voters


Operation Swing State focuses on the elections in the Swing States because this is where the 2012 Presidential race will be won . . . or lost.

The Swing States are: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Swing State Absentee and/or Early Voting has ALREADY STARTED in 5 Swing States SO YOU NEED TO START CALLING RIGHT NOW!!

You don't have to live in a Swing State to make calls to them!
You Need to Start Now

1. Go to www.MittRomney.com
2. Left column - "Get Involved"
3. Choose "Make Calls From Home"
4. Choose either:
- I've never made calls before
- I've made calls before
5. Sign up (if you have not registered yet)
6. Sign in
7. Specify phone
- Regular/cell phone
8. Enter phone number that will be used
9. Go to "Begin Calling" on top menu
10. Follow "Instructions" on left

National TARS recommends adjusting the Script

"Hi, this is ___ may I ask you two short 'yes or no' questions about the upcoming presidential election?"
*It is better not to say "survey" as it turns people off.

- Ask given questions

Also, eliminate the part at the end of the script pertaining to Absentee Voting since most voting deadlines have passed.


Schedule a "Calling Party" Today!

Individual TARS can function as a Committee of One and make calls on behalf of Romney-Ryan using their smart phones at any time!

However, Calling Parties have proven to be fun and a great way of recruiting more TARS to help in this all important project. Your series of Calling Parties need to be scheduled immediately as we only have 4 weeks left to make a difference!

- Post a flyer!
- Use the bull horn at school!
- Talk it up with all your friends in every single class!
- Make announcements at Club, Church and Community meetings!
- Encourage adults to have their own Calling Parties!

Keep track of your total number of phone calls as well as the number of households you actually reach.
