On a wet stormy morning our community completed a week of food provision! Lakeshore Baptist & Automatic Spring packed food boxes after a semi load of TEFAP food was delivered Tuesday. 96 seniors received boxes on Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon the box truck was loaded with 145 boxes. By noon on Friday, First Presbyterian who sponsored the mobile food truck served 138 households with sweet corn, carrots, egg patties & more. Automatic Spring loaded 115 TEFAP boxes into cars! 347 individuals in our community with 75 children & 125 seniors are restocked for the weekend. The sun shines & our community is blessed!

The lawns & bushes around LIA’s Community Haven are trimmed & weeded after the crew from Lakeshore Baptist shared their experience, time, & energy today. It was a warm afternoon but they completed the job by hauling the brush away. Thank you for this blessing!

Thank you to the amazing group from the Church of the Dunes that sponsored & served at the food truck this morning! 121 households that included 318 individuals are enjoying sweet corn, sweet potatoes, applesauce, peaches, eggs & more this weekend. 95 children & 110 seniors are in this group. You are a blessing as you serve in our community.
