Ferry Village Walking Tour
Ferry Village Walking Tour, sponsored by the GI Historic Preservation Advisory Board will take place on Saturday, September 12th and Saturday, September 26th at 10AM. Meet at the corner of Ferry Rd. and East River Rd. by the hot dog stand. There is a $10.00 charge. For reservations call Sharon at 716-773-2421.

Just four days away.......Thursday, May 7, 2026 - 7:00 p.m. - general meeting and program.
Learn more about Grand Island’s history as Society President Curt Nestark, along with members Mary Cooke and Grand Island Historian Jodi Robinson, present a program on The History of the Edgewater Hotel.
We will meet at the Grand Island Cultural Center, 2100 Baseline Road. The Cultural Center is in the lower level of St. Stephen’s Old Church. There is an elevator, making the space ADA accessible.
This is a perfect chance to see the amazing renovations that have occurred in this space over the past 3 years.
GI Historical Society members are free; guests are asked for $5 donation. A short business meeting starts at 7pm. Refreshments will follow the program.
Please help spread the word about the change of venue!
Invite your friends; the room can accommodate 98 people.
