Newcomers participated in the first ever CPI putt-putt golf classic. Students designed holes in teams. Throughout the golf tournament, they were required to use their listening, speaking, and writing skills as well as math skills. Winners were awarded prizes for most creative hole, lowest strokes as a team, and highest strokes for the hole.

Our Culinary Skills students participated in the first ever Iron Chef Grand Island. These students made incredible, creative dishes using canned pumpkin as their common ingredient. The plating techniques and food quality were impressive. Great job by Mrs. Gardner and Ms. Nolan to provide this innovative project as a way for students to showcase their skills!!

Our Graduating Seniors walked the halls for the last time this morning.

In true Islander tradition, the caravan was led by our GISH Drumline and the whole school of students and staff lined the halls to cheer-on our Seniors and wish them well.

He fielded questions from our Islanders and discussed ways students may confidently share their voices in the community and with the Legislature.
