A bit of a “life news” update as tomorrow will be my last day as Communications Manager for the City of Grand Island, and this one is definitely bittersweet.

I’ve truly loved this job. Most importantly, it’s been incredible getting to work alongside so many hard-working people across our City departments. In my opinion, they’re the true heartbeat behind what makes the City run, and they’ve been one of the best parts of my past two and a half years.

I’m grateful for the relationships, the trust and the opportunity to tell the stories of the people who serve this community for the people IN the community.

As hard as it is to leave something I’ve cared so much about, I’m also really excited about the next chapter. More on that soon enough!

For now, I’m just thankful. It’s been a heck of a ride. 👏🏻👏🏻
