We planted our annual Girls Group garden AND made tie-dye shirts! Lots of laughs, dirty hands, bright colors, and fun memories made together 💕 We can’t wait to watch our garden grow!

Last week, our School-Based Mentoring Program celebrated a big milestone, our 8th graders moving on to high school 🎓

Each student was recognized with something special said just for them, along with a gift to mark the moment. It was a meaningful way to reflect on how far they’ve come and all the growth we’ve seen this year.

Families joined us to celebrate, and the afternoon was full of fun. Ice cream, hot dogs, music, chalk art, and even some “bump and jump” jousting! There was also plenty of creativity with bag decorating and markers.

Moments like this remind us what mentoring is all about! Connection, encouragement, and showing up for our youth as they take their next steps.

We’re so proud of each of these students and can’t wait to see what high school holds for them 💙

Last night was one of those simple but powerful reminders of what connection looks like in our community. 💙

Our youth and mentors got to spend the evening jumping, laughing, and diving into foam pits at Get Air, this time alongside the amazing cadets from the Grand Junction Police Department Academy. From dodgeball games to shared pizza, it was all about building relationships, breaking down barriers, and just having fun together.

But moments like these can mean even more than they seem. For some of our youth, it’s a chance to see someone in uniform and think, “Maybe I could do that someday.”

Thank you to the cadets for showing up, engaging, and being such a positive presence with our youth. We appreciate you!

There’s something special about looking up at the night sky and realizing how much there is to discover. ✨

This week, our youth had the chance to dive into astronomy with Jeff, a professor from Colorado Mesa University. Together, they explored planets, stars, and the stories behind constellations.

It wasn’t just about learning facts, it was about curiosity, asking questions, and seeing the world (and sky) a little differently.

Grateful for opportunities like this that bring learning to life. 💫

Girls Group had the best time cheering on the amazing women of Colorado Mesa University at their basketball game this week! 🏀💛

Opportunities like this are about so much more than the game. Our girls got to see strong, confident women competing at the college level. A powerful reminder that hard work, teamwork, and dedication can open so many doors.

Thank you to CMU for the energy, the inspiration, and a fun night we won’t forget! 💛
