Big news! We are pleased to announce that Chris Masters, our former Chief Operating Officer, will be taking over as Interim Executive Director for our organization. Chris has been an employee at HomewardBound for over 5 years, and in that time has become a cornerstone for our organization. Chris was once a guest in our shelter, and credits those experiences for giving him the tools necessary to help others stuck in the same situation back into self sufficiency.

We're growing, not moving. Patterson Road isn't going anywhere, we just made room for a whole lot more.

Happy Friday everybody!

HomewardBound is calling for supplies for our guests. Currently, we are in need of Baby Wipes, Size 3-7 Diapers and Pullups, And clean/gently used Men's and Women's shorts of all sizes. Every donation helps a family in need! If you would like to bring in a donation, our donation hours are 9-5 every day and our address is 562 29 Road.

Thank you all so much for your support! Our staff and guests are all very grateful. Your kindness gives our guests the resources they need in order to focus on forging their own paths to self sufficiency!

Together, we can continue to change lives for the better, one guest at a time. 🏠

Several of our members served dinner at Pathways Shelter on Tuesday evening. The heart of Kiwanis is simple: we love our community, and we show it through service. 💙

Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction is part of a global volunteer organization dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Our members are committed to hands-on service projects that make a difference right here at home!

Pathways provides shelter, case management, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness in Grand Junction. They focus on helping people stabilize, regain independence, and move toward long-term housing.

Community in Action, that is what Kiwanis is all about. 💙

🚨 Share!!!! Share!!! Share!! 🚨 sixth annual giveback kickback!! helping our students succeed, stepping into a new year of school! K through eighth grade will be eligible for a free service with Cavi Cuts barbers a small donation of school supply of any kind!! will be providing food, snack, snacks drink drinks, and also a bouncy house for all the kids!!! first come first serve! I shared this to our community to pull through another great event, hoping the less fortunate in receiving school supplies! Also feeling good and confident providing self-esteem with a haircut to start their first day of school as fresh as possible we love you and we thank you God bless and hope to see you there!!!!
