Hi Pomona!

We are so excited to offer an amazing fundraising opportunity to you this week! Pomona is partnering with Mesa Park Fruit to offer flats of peaches for $35. We are thankful that $15 of each order comes right back to our teachers and students.

The order form will ask for the name of your student’s teacher, as we are fostering some fun competition between classes to start the year.

The deadline to order is this Friday, August 14, with pick-up of peaches on Monday, August 17 after school.

If you will not be ordering peaches, please share with local family or friends. Thanks for supporting the learning here at Pomona by participating in our August fundraiser.

😁 Who's ready for back to school? 🙋 We are! And we want you to be too! Save this post to keep these important dates ready!

Tuesday, July 21: Registration Opens. All students, including returning students, must register before the first day of school on August 11. If you have questions about registration or enrollment, please contact your student's school. If you are using a mobile device to register, you must download the new ParentVUE app. You can also use a desktop or laptop computer.

Tuesday, July 28: Transfer requests open at 10:00 a.m. Begin a new registration and select a transfer request application.

Monday, August 3: Last day to Stuff the Bus! All donations can be dropped off at the bus in the Mesa Mall. The bus is located on the west end of the food court, outside of Claire's and American Eagle.

Tuesday, August 11: First day of school for 1st - 12th grades. Excluding schools involved in bond projects.

Wednesday, August 12: First day of school for schools involved in Bond projects. This includes: Appleton Elementary, Broadway Elementary, Orchard Avenue Elementary, Pomona Elementary, Tope Elementary, Wingate Elementary, Mount Garfield Middle School, and West Middle School.

Thursday, August 13: Kindergarteners' first day of school!

Monday, August 17: Preschool's first day of school. Please call Early Childhood Education for any questions: 970-254-5429.
