Mesa County WIOA The Youth WIOA team offers fast-track internships, education (GED) and employment programs for eligible participants. Who is Eligible?

WIOA Program provides a variety of programs, workshops and one-on-on assistance to young adults, ages 16-24, who need help finding a job, planning a career or reaching education goals. KickStart your Career with Paid Internships. Overview

The KickStart Program is designed to assist low income at-risk youth achieve their educational and employment goals. If eligible, participants work with an Employment Specialist to create a personalized plan for a successful future. Services

Participants involved in this program will benefit from employment assistance, supportive services, tutoring, adult mentoring, work experience, tuition assistance, GED preparation, leadership activities, and referrals. Applicants must be between 16-24 years old, low income and have one or more of the following barriers to employment or education:

Deficient in basic literacy skills
offender
Documented disability
High school drop out
Homeless/runaway
Pregnant/parenting youth
Foster care
Needs additional assistance
