We welcome our community to attend an after-hours Masquerade Ball tomorrow evening (Oct 16) from 7pm - 9pm as we fundraise for the Friends of the Library! Dress up in masquerade-inspired outfits, then mix and mingle with other adults while enjoying our Halloween decorated atmosphere, music, light snacks, and alcohol-free beverages. Masquerade Ball masks are encouraged! Donations for the Friends are requested for this event, but are not required to participate. We hope to see you here!

Turn on those Halloween lights, GL! We want to see them during our Halloween Night Lights Walk & Scavenger Hunt tomorrow evening (Oct 15) from 6pm – 7:30pm! And we want YOU to join us, all ages welcome with adult supervision.

If the weather doesn't cooperate for Thursday's Night Lights Walk, the event will move indoors at the Library for spooky stories, treats, and crafts! All are invited to come in costume and have some seasonal fun!

Winnie The Pooh Turns 100 this year, and we welcome you to celebrate his birthday celebration with us tomorrow (Wednesday Oct 14) from 11am – 12pm at our Wacousta Branch! We will have a tea party, crafts, and of course a Winnie the Pooh Storytime! We will end the celebration with a teddy bear parade, so bring along your favorite stuffed bear to show off and parade around the library.

Dark Sky Night in Wacousta is this Saturday (Oct 10) from 7pm – 8:30pm at Heritage Park (Wacousta). Watch the sunset over the park and allow your eyes to adjust for prime night viewing and participate in activities from the library & MSU's Abrams Planetarium!

PLEASE NOTE: The forecast currently calls for overcast, but we will still have this event cloud coverage or no. If in the event of unclear skies, we will meet at the Wacousta Branch and do activities with Abrams there!
