Grand Prairie ISD offers Optional Mobile Device Insurance for students. The cost is $20 /per device, per student.
There are two ways to pay:
1. You can pay online with My School Bucks https://www.myschoolbucks.com
2. You can pay with cash or check at the campus.

Please remember, the final day to purchase this insurance is October 31, 2026. After this date, the insurance will no longer be available for purchase. The coverage will protect your student's device until the end of the school year.

We are so proud of you, Harrison!

You have to 🛑 scrolling and read this accomplishment from one of Grand Prairie ISD’s talented students. 🤩

Harrison Le, a student at the School for the Highly Gifted in GPISD, was named a National Math Stars for 2026. He was chosen after a multi-stage evaluation of mathematical aptitude and eagerness to go deeper in STEM. Through high school graduation, this program will provide mentorship, funding for advanced math courses, STEM enrichment materials, and invitations to math competitions and summer camps.

SHG PTA NEEDS YOU! We’re looking for parents who want to get more involved and help make a difference for our students, teachers, and school community!...
We currently have President & Treasurer, but several PTA leadership opportunities are open:

✨ Treasurer-in-Training – Shadow Danielle now and step into the Treasurer role for 2027–28.
🎨 Arts in Education/Reflections – Lead our year-long Reflections program and help with Cultural Night.
💰 Fundraising – Spirit nights, donations, yearbooks, ads, Kroger, Box Tops & more!
🍎 Programs/Adopt-a-Teacher – Coordinate monthly teacher appreciation and special programs.
🙋 Volunteer/Teacher Appreciation – Help coordinate volunteers, teacher meals, treats & appreciation.
📣 Communications/Social Media – Help with Facebook, emails, events & outreach.

Grand Prairie ISD would like to dispel another myth about free and reduced-price meals. Hear what GPISD students have to say about the Free and Reduced Price meal application.

🚨 As a reminder, this application must be renewed every school year, or benefits will stop after 30 days of the school year. Also, students not participating in the free and reduced-price meal program will be required to pay for meals.�
We encourage all GPISD families to submit an application even if you think you may not qualify. To apply now and/or check the status of your application, visit http://www.gpisd.org/freemeals.
