A Renewed Hope is a Christ centered non profit with a transitional living program that provides a temporary secure home for women who have been victims of sex trafficking, abuse, transitioning from incarceration, and recovering from addictions.
We have an 18 month transitional and healing program. In this program we provide a secure home, food, and basic needs for everyday living. In the first 90 days we require the women to not work but to focus directly on their healing. We collaborate with other trusted organizations, networks and volunteers to provide resources such as professional counseling, inner healing classes, and emotional therapy. In addition to their healing we assist the women in meeting their personal, education and career goals in order to set them up for success.
This Organization allows Women to walk in freedom and have self worth and purpose. 1 John 3:16-18 By this we know love, which he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in Action
Mission: To help transform the lives of women that are in transition by providing a solid foundation and a renewed hope at life (1 Cor. 3:11-14). Our desire is to create an environment with tools for women to heal, become free and whole in Jesus (Psalms 147:3). We aim to support in developing honorable character and emotional stability. As well as equipping and preparing them to become successful in their future (Jeremiah 29:11).

When we walk through the valley of deep darkness, defenseless as a sheep, he calls himself Shepherd (Psalm 23:4). When we lie face down, overpowered by enemies too strong for us, he calls himself Redeemer (Isaiah 43:14). And when we feel small, vulnerable and afflicted in a dangerous world, he calls himself Creator: “Let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good” (1 Peter 4:19). Amen 🙏
Ignorance of the enemy's tactics will persist in the lives of those who do not know (or will not yield to) God's liberating truth. On the other hand, all who are willing to embrace the truths of God's word will enjoy more and more freedom from the enemy's lies.
Waiting is worth it
I’m learning that waiting on God is actually very important in our relationship with him – and it plays a key role in our spiritual development. Waiting does not have to create bitterness, anger or loss of hope: it can establish a deeper trust and knowledge of who God is and his love for you. I pray that you would experience him intimately as you wait on him. As you wait on God, your hope needs to be in God’s promises and not in circumstances, people, or ourselves or the things of this world. Not even in what you hope will happen. The reality is, God’s Word will never change nor fade away. Whatever the Bible says (hopes and promises) will happen because God cannot be unfaithful to himself. In the midst of waiting on God, we too can experience that same rest and peace that comes from God’s presence. We are never alone in the waiting, no matter how scary or isolating the unknown future feels.
HOPE IN THE CHANGE
In the days that have followed I’ve learned a great deal about season changes, trusting God, and rejoicing in the fact that He does keep his promises. I had two options: I could try to move forward and pretend as though I were the same woman and attempt to keep life moving “as usual”… or I could trust God and place all of my tear-soaked cards on the table and look this season of change right in the face I understand the tendency to want to flee from change. It is uncomfortable and exhausting to change. It requires great vulnerability and opened-hands kind of living. It is hard. And sometimes, sisters, change comes into your world like a wrecking ball. I get it.
TRUST IN THE CHANGE
As children of God who trust His ways, it is true disobedience to not walk forward into a new season that God is calling us into. To resist Him is to communicate a lack of trust in Him. Amen
My friends, my sisters.
In and out of every season, the beautiful and the broken, God is faithful and kind.
He is near.
He gives what we need.
Let us not run from God when our world changes, but instead let’s seek Him. Let’s call on Him in truth, knowing that He is a promise keeper. May we be women who speak the praise of the Lord and bless His Holy name as the seasons change, and we change.
The night Jesus was betrayed, His followers were fearful and ran for their lives. But when they saw the resurrected Christ, it was so compelling, they went from trying to save their lives to boldly proclaiming He was the Christ, the resurrected Son of God. Every one of them eventually gave their lives for the cause of Christ. Jesus is alive and still changing lives today. When you’re uncertain and anxious about what is happening in the world, you go back to what you know–Jesus died, and three days later the tomb was empty! We can have hope because Jesus, the resurrected Son of God, is alive. He is risen!
Finding peace in the midst of the storm!
Storms are an inevitable part of life. No matter who you are or where you are, you will experience storms in life. Every storm you face comes with a purpose. If you are out of God’s will, the storm has a purpose to lead you to repentance and change your course of action. Like the storm that came in the life of Jonah, the prophet, when he disobeyed God and went to Tarshish instead of going to Nineveh. Just maybe this storm will serve a greater purpose in Gods will for the world 🌎
If you are obedient to God and find yourself in the midst of a storm, it is to mature you in faith, just like the storm that came when the disciples got into the boat with Jesus. Storms in life are designed to create intense and overwhelming pressure around us. Storms show us our inadequacy and frailty. It is in the midst of a storm most people get on their knees and are brought to repentance. Storms in life are designed to create intense and overwhelming pressure around us. Storms are created to draw us near to God. While in the storm, you may feel like you are abandoned and God is far away from you. It is in those moments, if you call Him, He will answer you, if you seek Him, you will find Him, because He is right there with you in the midst of your storm. The storm is out of your control, but it is totally in God’s control. We all can feel the peace that comes after the storm, but as believers in Jesus Christ, we are privileged to feel the peace while we are in the midst of the storm. Storms make you feel defenceless and defeated. When you focus on the storm, you will grow fearful and distressed, but if you focus on the Lord and trust in His words, you will have perfect peace even in the midst of the most fearful storm. When circumstances overwhelm us, we focus on our inadequacy and worry about the situation, but if your mind is fully focused on God, you will be in perfect peace.
“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16: 33 ESV)
The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 ESV

"I know how weary you are, My child. You have been struggling just to keep your head above water, and your strength is running low. Now is the time for you to stop striving and let Me fight for you. I know this is not easy for you to do. You feel as if you must keep struggling in order to survive, but I am calling you to rest in Me. I am working on your behalf; so be still, and know that I am God."
— Sarah Young
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." —Exodus 14:14
As the story unfolds, She‛s a grown woman, filled with a strength and deep wisdom that could only come from unexpected and sometimes painful life experiences. She wondered if perhaps there never was one single purpose for her after all. Maybe her purpose was meant to be created like a diamond; requiring the pressures of life to bring out it's true brilliance and value that God created. This is the story about transitions. And while this is a part of my life story, the elements included here are universal.
A youthful certainty.
A life-altering situation.
A wise, soulful new perspective.
And an intentional course adjustment.
When you find yourself in transition, ( you can trust that sometime, you will ) there are certain things that will support your growth and other things that will stunt it. 💕
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. Ephesians 5:8
For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. 2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. Romans 6:13
Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. Romans 6:6
We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. ❤️
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
❤️1 John 5:4, "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world-- our faith." ❤️

I run along the paths of God’s commands because He has set my heart free.
I am protected by the name of Jesus. John 17:12
One of the most critical spiritual exercises we can undergo is allowing God to heal our past wounds and guide us to a lifestyle of forgiving present scars. Without healing and forgiveness, other people’s mistakes will affect our future. Without the inner working of the Holy Spirit, we will live in continual suffering from the sins of others. And as the Lord begins to heal our wounds, we must allow him to guide us to a lifestyle of forgiveness for our present scars. We must forgive those people who hurt us so the scars in our lives become symbols of God’s redeeming love rather than reminders of painful events. James 2:13 says, “Mercy triumphs over judgment.” Show mercy to those who are undeserving of it just as your heavenly Father has shown you mercy. Love your enemies as Jesus did so that you can experience triumph instead of pain, freedom instead of enslavement to negativity, and joy instead of anger. May your heavenly Father be allowed to love you, hold you, and care for the places in your heart that need his healing touch the most.

When you realize your own brokenness you’ll begin loving the people in front of you like Jesus loves the soul inside of you.
"When you are waiting, waiting, waiting for longed-for answers to prayer, it takes courage to continue hoping in Me. The world, the flesh, and the devil all tell you it’s easier to just give up and give in to dull disappointment. In a sense, this is true. To keep praying with positive expectation requires a lot of effort and perseverance; giving up is momentarily easier. However, a resigned, I-give-up attitude is always hurtful in the long run. Often, this leads to cynicism—and eventually to despair. So it’s well worth the effort to keep your hopefulness alive." Sarah Young
"I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe." —Ephesians 1:18–19

You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD's hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God” Isaiah 62:3
A renewed hope desires for every woman with a difficult past to know God loves them unconditionally and heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.
God designed a specific story for every woman. That story might be one of a prodigal past or as a life-long follower of Christ. Whatever the path, by telling the story of how God’s love changed our lives, we share the good news and fulfill our purpose. There is a woman somewhere waiting to hear your story and learn how God loves them too.

Revel in this promise. You may feel like a rejected stone for now. But when he comes, he will make you a pillar in the temple of God Revelation 3:12. He will triumph over every enemy of your soul and you will reign with him — you, the chosen ones. “For he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful” Revelation 17:14.
We are over comers here at a renewed hope! Knowing God goes before us and fights are battles!
Deuteronomy 20:4 (NIV)
For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”

In seasons of transition, we are tested and stretched by new circumstances and relationships, and it can be tempting to look back and cling to the certainty and comfort of the last season while steeling our emotions against the uncertainty of what’s to come. But the Lord calls us to move with Him through the seasons of life and trust His work in us and timing.
What He began He will finish, therefore make it your goal today in whatever season you may find yourself, to pursue what God is pursuing in your life. Pursue the fullness of the Spirit. Pursue Christlikeness in love, in word, and in deed. Make it your goal and your decision to always trust His leadership. When it gets tough, you can always say, “God, I don’t see the way forward but You do, and I entrust my life into Your hands.” Make the decision that whatever comes next, you will stay steady because He who called you is faithful.
In a world where Satan is still ruling (2 Corinthians 4:4), you do not need too much encouragement to set your mind on rebellion. Satan knows this better than anyone else. He is always available to give you the push you need. He will help you to be more carnal—to become enslaved to the works of the flesh.
In a society based on Satan's principles of selfishness and vanity, obedience does not always seem pleasant or easy, but with God's help we can overcome Satan's snares.
God has promised never to forsake you. If you let Him fight your battles, and if you resist evil by using His Spirit, you will never need to fear Satan's snares. They will have no power over you. Satan will be powerless— totally disarmed.
Breaking chains: The modern day chains that we may experience can come in a variety of forms. It might be an addiction, a lazy attitude or a failure to forgive. We can identify such spiritual shackles by assessing whether whatever it is weakens us, restricts our freedom and prevents us from reaching our potential to become closer to and more like Christ.
If you're aware that there are chains holding you down or you think there's something shackling you but you're yet to determine what it is, appeal to Jesus to set you free today!

Keep waiting for your God, even when he tarries long. Keep clinging to his promises, even when it feels like he’s abandoned them. Keep crying out to him, even when you’re unsure he hears. Keep seeking his face, even when you want to least. Refuse the temptation, when you find yourself tired of waiting, to “go astray after a lie” Psalm 40:4 some refuge other than God that promises immediate relief. Wait, cling, pray, seek, and trust that your God will come.
Soon, darkness will not be normal, but nonexistent. God will not be merely near, but visible. Joy will not only be real, but full, and forever. Amen
