In recognition of those who lost their lives while serving our country, Grand Prairie ISD campuses and offices will be closed on Monday, May 27 in observance of 🇺🇸 Memorial Day. GPISD returns to regular office hours on Tuesday, May 28.

The cafeteria is closed to lunch visitors this week due to awards ceremonies. All ceremony attendees must have a Raptor pass and abide by our assembly guidelines.

Kindergarten: Monday, May 20th, 9:00-10:00am
Pre-K: Monday, May 20th, 1:30-2:30pm
1st Grade: Tuesday, May 21st, 9:00-10:00am
4th Grade: Tuesday, May 21st, 1:30-2:45pm
3rd Grade: Wednesday, May 22nd, 9:00-10:00am
2nd Grade: Thursday, May 23rd, 9:00-10:00am
5th Grade: Thursday, May 23rd, 1:30-2:45pm (followed by 5th grade clap out parade)

School Assembly Guidelines:
• Arrive on time.
• Turn off/silence electronic devices
• Please sit together as a family to allow other families access.
• Please remind students, siblings, and guests to be quiet and respectful of the ceremony
• Clap at appropriate times. Please only acknowledge our students with applause (yelling, screaming, or calling out student names is never appropriate).
• Please stay seated and remember to leave or come in quickly in between or after each classroom awards presentation is over. If you have a previous commitment that requires you to leave early, please sit toward the back and only leave between classroom award presentations.
• You many only take photographs without flash.
• Dispose of trash or waste to keep the cafetorium clean.
• Listen, watch, enjoy.
