Meds-1 Ambualnce Service was foundered by Kevin McNichols’s in 1978. He built an amazing company to service the community’s EMS needs, education and support.
Then June 1, 2016 Suzanne and I were fortunate enough to have bought the company. We have tried to continue the same support and service. We have done our best to take the company to the next level. But unfortunately with all the things that have happened in the industry we are at our limits.
As of June 4th, 2024 we are selling to North Memorial Ambulance. They have the expertise, manpower and resources to do what we couldn’t. The things they can do for our employees and the community will far exceed what we could ever do.
We want to thank our community for the fantastic support over the years. This doesn’t mean we are retiring! You will still see us both around just in another business. I may even go back on the rig as a Paramedic because it was so enjoyable.

Conner started out his EMS career as an EMT with us with the intent of going to PA school. He has grown into an amazing provider and has been a vital part of our team over the last year.

Yesterday, he got the news that he was accepted into PA school!

As sad as we are to see him go, we wish him continued success and ALL of the best on his journey!
